Micheline Ntiru
Micheline has over 20 years’ experience in business advisory, impact investment and international development in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and the U.S. She currently works with growth stage businesses across Africa, providing management and leadership coaching as a Business Advisor to Stanford Seed.
Micheline has worked on transaction advisory with International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Latin America and the Caribbean, where she was also involved in SME development and corporate governance. She previously worked as a Manager with mobile giant Nokia, heading social responsibility for Middle East and Africa. In the earlier years of her career, Micheline worked with NGOs such as UNICEF and Care International, managing health, agribusiness and community development programs across Africa.
Micheline holds an MBA from University of Cambridge, UK, an MSc in Nutrition and Public Health from Tufts University, USA and a BSc in Biology from Mount Holyoke College, USA. She currently serves as a Director on the Board of social enterprise Oxford Policy Management (OPM) in the UK as well as NGO eHealth Africa in Nigeria. In addition, she serves as an Investco member of Kenya Climate Ventures. She speaks French, Portuguese, Spanish and Swahili fluently as well as Kinyarwanda and Luganda.
